A Mosaic Mural created by 4th graders at Jefferson Elementary School in San Francisco.
"For this service-learning project, we wanted to do a project that incorporated the student's 4th grade immigration curriculum.
The teacher, Mr. Aquerelli had all of his students interview members of their family about how they came to America. As it turned out - all of the students had a parent or grandparent born in another country.
The students made classroom presentations and did art projects incorporating their family's stories into the mural design.
The Passport Project show their personal histories"
